I was FLOORED by this wine. I had no experience wth this producer, but like the vintage and love the vineyard, so I took a flyer on this one. Wow! This is in a perfect place and reminds me why I love burgundy so much. Opened the bottle and poured a few small glasses and waited about 30 minutes. Translucent ruby color. A very finely detailed, floral, slightly spicy nose, with subtle yet clearly present herbal undertones. It really hit all of the notes I look for in the nose of a red burg, yet was restrained and classy. Absolutely silky palate, with perfectly integrated tannins, nice red fruit, and acid to balance. I could go on and on, but this one of the best red wines I’ve had in a while. (95 pts.)

Didn’t we drink this when Phil was in town? If this is the same wine, your right on with the 95 point rating.

That is the one. A little slow getting around to posting notes…
