    Double decanted because some cork bits ended up in the wine. A really wonderful Sauternes. Medium golden color. Moderate sweetness with an equally moderate acid backbone that put it all into balance. The wine paired equally well with foie gras and also with sweetbreads, but also paired well with a chestnut tart at dessert. Only one bottle left, but I must find more. (94 points)
