TN: 1986 Joseph Drouhin Griottes-Chambertin

  • 1986 Joseph Drouhin Griottes-Chambertin - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru (7/6/2009)
Orange-red with browning at the rim. A nose of iron, dried cherries, wet saddle leather, and plum. Palate had integrated tannins, smooth and polished with notes of damp earth, cherry, plum, and no noticable oak. Drink up in the next 2-3 years. (90 pts.)
