TN: 1978 Lamblin & Fils - Grand Cru Chablis - Vaudesir
I fancied a decent white wine with the home made fish pie. The neck label said “Officially se;acted and shipped by David Baillie Vintners Ltd.” Light clear amber. Soft almonds with a hint of marzipan on the nose. The palate is just so pleasurable. Waves of resolved white stone fruit reinforced with integrated acidity. The finish shows a hint of lime bitterness. No hurry to drink up on this wine, though for me it is walking in the middle of its drinking plateau.
