TN: 1975 Chateau Lynch Bages

Nothing profound, but plenty of fruit/life left and a solid birthyear wine.

Cork came out in one piece and the bottle looked pristine, this delivered classic cedar, spice and red berry notes that I associate with mature cabernets/blends, and this particular bottle was still youthful at 34.

Finish was just a touch tannic, but we drank it sans food - not sure I would have considered it tannic with something to eat. Based on this one sample, it may continue to lose the tannin. As other notes on CT indicated, this wine seems to be shedding the tannin and gaining in fruit, so if I had others I’d hold for another year and see what’s going on.
