have had this wine in many vintages but i doubt ever this old. thx for the note.

my favorite was the 1995.
can be hit or miss.
i heard the 2005 is really good.

Poured 1989 at my wedding rehearsal dinner in 2003. I, too, am surprised that the 1970 holds up.
