    The colour was good for its age and fill excellent. The cork crumbled and it was like mining for sand as I drilled into it. I pushed the remnants into the bottle and strained into a decanter. The wine was good and got better and better. It started with nutty marzipan notes along with some preserved citrus. There was something vinous and peachy at its core and plenty of saline mineralty. It had white mushroom and toast development and just a kiss of breezy acidity to the tail.
