I bought a few cases of 2009 BDX from HDH’s last auction that was sourced from these guys. They have a great story. I wonder if it’s true

Anyone have any experience with this org? I.e. should I cry or not?

I don’t know anything about them other than what they posted on their web site. However, they are intentionally lying about themselves when they say ‘Est 1973’ and then later state it was formed in 1995. That isn’t the biggest issue. I note at least one grammatical error on the site, and therefore could never buy from them.
I’ve met these guys on several occasions and they’re a quality shop, despite the grammatical errors.
They used to sell predominantly older vintages to retailers on the East Coast.
I also bought from them.
In the last couple of year’s the original owner sold I believe, and they are now they are acting as more of a wine investment fund.
I also grabbed a couple cases, so hopefully they are trustworthy. I bought under the assumption that HDH does their due diligence, and it’s too late to worry about it now anyway.
Now I just need to find where I can store those cases considering storage is packed to the brim already.
To further clarify, they only sold to other licensees.
They never had a retail outlet.
