The Smoker Thread - recipes, techniques, ideas

I don’t know how you all remember to take pictures of your final product just pulled off the smoker. I always think about it once it’s rested and I’m sitting down to enjoy the meal.

Tonight’s delight, smoked pork ribs, which is probably my favorite smoked meal. When its just me and my husband, a rack of dry rubbed ribs, no sauce and no wrap always make for a delicious dinner. A baked potato, kale and apple salad and a Bedrock Zin. Sorry the photo is late… as stated above I never remember pictures of the finished product.

I like dry ribs, as well, but always get stuck saucing them up for the wife and kids.

I did these over the break, but forgot to post here…

Those look fantastic! And see, a picture of the full rack of ribs, which I never remember! My husband dislikes most any bbq sauce, so dry rub is the go to with sauce on the side for those that want it. If there’s a crowd joining us will maybe will do some dry and some sauced, but I’m not a fan of much sauce added when it comes to any smoking.

Post holidays clearance on beef ribs now that nobody needs a roast. 5 lbs @ $2.97 a pound and will use post oak.

Costco was selling those the other day, but already cut into individual bones. Fortunately they worked just fine on the smoker. Season, smoke and eat; no fuss. Easy, fast, delicious and inexpensive. What could be better?

Did some smoked pork belly burnt ends…

How do you serve those? I can think of lots of delicious ways. LOL

Fingers, toothpicks, fork?
In this a trick question?

I think most people serve as appetizers…but my daughter wanted them for dinner

I can’t have a smoker at our FL place but I’m considering this for our sunporch.
Looks interesting.
