I had two great finds at two different mom and pop liquor stores about eight years ago. In the first, a case of the 1982 Jaboulet La Chapelle at $40 per bottle; in the second, six bottles of the 1984 Ridge Montebello Cabernet at $25 per bottle. Eleven bottles of the Jaboulet were glorious. Two bottles of the Ridge were corked, but the remaining four were thrilling to drink.
