It was wonderful, in big part because I finally got some Berserkers to a truly exceptional restaurant.
I love wines with bottle age but I hate waste, so there’s a fine line to draw on when to pull corks. Except for a premox Montrachet and a possibly slightly corked Rhys, everything was in good shape, amazingly for the two half-century Bordeaux. There’s already discussion of a repeat next year. If so, it would be great to see you there.
