Tonoght’s supper, after Maria’s and while watching today’s TdF stage, was various salume - Salcissicon de Vic, Fre’Mani spicy and gentile salumetti, mini-chorizo, and three mozzarella rolls - Buffalo spice, spicy Salame, & Pizza Seasoned, olives, and crackers. This was enjoyed wih an 1995 Argiano ‘Solengo’ VdT Toscano - cork saturated only less than a cm; bright ruby garnet color; good nose and flavors of complex, spicy red & black fruit; mid-palate with barely adequate acidity and lots of complex fruit; with a medium-long rich fruit finish.
