Tax free permit for EtOH

Anyone figure out how to get 70% EtOH for sanitation tax free? I tired talking to the TTB and they thought i was going to be adding it to my wine- like we need higher alcs in CA!

I get mine through Pharmco and it costs more for excise than the product delivered. Anyone have any suggestions?

In the hospital setting, we stored 70% to 98% ETOH in the pharmacy and got it tax free since the Lab used it for some of their testing procedures. Look at a microbiology angle maybe.
