Just a mid-week quaffer, this fairly light colored red is medium weight, with juicy ripe brambly berry fruit. Ready out of the gate, it was quite enjoyable with a rich short rib stew. The reasonable alcohol level (13.9%) and its “don’t need to think about it” demeanor would make it a great addition to a Fall Saturday patio BBQ party.
