I will be in the region during the wine fair. Has anyone been and if so how much time should I plan to spend there. Taking a train from Lyon.
Le Chaudron across the river unfortunately closed.
Le Fooding is a great resource and has a couple of spots.
In Valence, you have La Cachette and Pic.
Great recommendations but Im actually looking for more information on the Tain l’Hermitage 42nd Salon des vins. Cheers
If it is anything like the Découvertes en Vallée du Rhône, there will be a hundred or so booths and you start drinking . . .

About 70 winemakers and 8 AOPs (Northern Rhone) will be represented. I’m going to budget 2 hours for this and some extra in the city. Tain L’Hermitage Wine Fair | 2026 Edition | At the foot of the vineyard Salon des vins de Tain L'Hermitage | Édition 2026 | Au pied du vignoble
