2007 Lincourt Syrah - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Barbara County (1/3/2010)
Can’t say I was surprised. Syrah and Santa Ynez!. Like soup and sandwich. Full bodied and a bit sweet. I thought this was delicious. Plenty of life here. My 25 year old cousin is a member of their club. Gotta love it when someone so young knows what she’s doing. She brought this wine to a Chanukkah dinner. (91 pts.) -
2007 Robert Foley Griffin - USA, California, Napa Valley, Spring Mountain District (1/3/2010)
WooHoo. Glad I have another bottle for the future. Sweetish and a bit hot on opening. The heat wore off quickly. I thought this was full bodied and smooth. I tasted chocolate and mocha/mint. No improvement at 2 hours… it was still delicious. I’ll wait at least a year to drink my other bottle. (91 pts.)
