Have had both the '03 and '05 Rayas a few times since then, wines that have both really come more into their own, especially the '03, which is just lovely drinking now…

Reg. the 1993: the thread is 7 years old … as good as the 1993 might have performed then … it now is definitely on the downslope - I recommend drinking it up (as I did with my last bottle in January), while the 1994 is still lovely but no blockbuster.
A comparison 2005/1995 would be great …

I realize this thread is almost seven years old, but whenever I see old Rayas notes, it brings me back to a great thread on ebob back in the day about the poster finding a 78 Rayas in a casual restaurant (a diner??). I only remember the waitress had a beehive hairdo! Does anyone have a link to an archived edition to the story??
