Can anyone help with a hotel room for Super Bowl weekend? Seems like all the decent hotels are sold out.
Good luck. Was at the last SB in NO in 2013 and it was an absolute madhouse.
I’m sure that most of the less than decent hotels are sold out, too. If you do find one, the cost will be obnoxious
FYI the problem with SB and hotels is everyone is coming in from out of town. That means the teams and the league take up all the good hotels and suites. Then you have the networks that buy up all the next tier. Then there’s the sponsors that get their share. There’s nothing left for the fans. Ever. And this is a year out. 6 weeks out? Forget about it.
Almost everything is sold out that is decent, I have no problem paying for the hotel cost just wish it was easier for the public to getting a decent room. We’re Bills fans and bought tickets in advance in hopes they will go, if not we will sell the tickets.
I dont understand how the true fans are supposed to go to these games especially when they dont know if their team is going to make it yet…
Win a contest lol. If you have never been to the SB, it’s so clearly a made for TV event. Nothing about the actual event is for the fans in attendance. And if you don’t have VIP tickets to a pre-party or after party, you’re going to be pretty bored. I have no desire to go in person again.
I’ve been to the superbowl 3x and I think a lot of the events that are around the city are pretty fun, but agree that the game itself sucks. The stoppages in play for commercials that seem long when you’re watching on TV are interminable when you are at the actual game. I also agree that you need to know people to get into the right parties.
I’m only going if the Bills make it which seems like destiny this season, if not, I have no interest in going.
Many fans of other teams are in your same situation. Should the Chiefs or Lions lose, I bet you’ll start seeing some cancellations. Definitely going to require some persistence and luck.
when I went to LSU / Alabama nation championship 10+ years ago in NO I was able to get on the wait list at a few hotels (the top of it at one thx to ao connection). It worked out at a few. No idea if they still do this but worth a call
When I went to NO for a Super Bowl it was last minute and wound up staying in Baton Rouge.
I suppose Tinder is out.

Ended up getting a full refund from AMEX due to the events yesterday. Would rather go to every Bills home playoff game for a quarter of the price of the SB tickets.
That’s probably a better use of your money than going to the Super Bowl, but I would imagine the tourist parts of Nola during Super Bowl weekend will be one of the safest places you could be, now anyways.
As a life long Bills fans I am not sure if I could stand the pain of another defeat AND the cost of the ticket! I decided to go home for the Championship game with 13 seconds left in Kansas City and we know how that turned out!
Wow that must’ve been tough walking out of that stadium that night, I was crying on my living room floor. Still one of the best games I’ve ever watched. They had that game on NFL network a few weeks and it got me all riled up again, I just shut it off after we scored before the 13 sec lol.
This year just feels different compared to any year in the last 7 years.
Tickets aren’t too bad for the games in Buffalo at least compared to the SB. We snagged lower 100 lever at 45 yard line for $550ea for the upcoming divisional playoff game if we make it.
