Thought I’d post an update:
Went to Leon’s Sunday afternoon. It was great - had a bottle of Gaston Chiquet and some sides and fried chicken. My girlfriend got the peel n eat shrimp and the grilled oysters.
Then we went back to the hotel, took a short nap and got ready for Zero George. We communicated with them a couple times beforehand. The first person I spoke to on the phone didn’t seem like they could accommodate my seafood allergy. Said there were marinades and other things that would have seafood one way or another. I had them keep it for the moment, while I contemplated if it was worth the risk (I vomit hours/the day after having seafood, it’s like having a really bad hangover). I called back to clarify what exactly there was and the other person I spoke to seemed more knowledgeable and said it was worcestershire sauce (which I’m fine with) and possibly one or two other things that had trace amounts of seafood in them. I decided to take the chance.
They seemed to be even more accommodating at the meal with the only seafood things being seaweed from what I could tell. Dinner was fantastic.
We followed up the meal by heading to Bin 152 and grabbing a bottle of Barolo and some chocolate with a friend I used to work with.
Next day we went to Millers all day for brunch. It was alright, I enjoyed the hot chicken on the hot chicken BEC, but not the B E or C part of the sandwich.
