Stuffed Bell Pepper Redux.....

This was a recipe I posted on another bored.
I made it again this weekend and the recipe is valid and I like it.

Stuffed the peppers with ground turkey, seasoned with cumin and chili powder. Topped it with aged Manchego.

Stuffed peppers are one of my favorite Fall/Winter dishes. I haven’t tried the poultry variety, just the classic beef. What did you pair with this dish. I’ve only tried syrah, which works well. Any other thoughts ?

Jan, I think a more fruit forward style Pinot Noir would be suitable here, or a new world style sangiovese based wine. Think about it…turkey, tomato, cumin, and aged cheese.
