Steve Saxon Offline at Zach's, Mt. Snow, June 13th

Steve is visiting family in Vermont: “flying in on June 9th and leaving the 16th”

[This is Zach hijacking Ken’s post:
The plan so far is to grill some goodies at my house at Mt. Snow, VT. There is the option to stay over at the house if you’d like. It is under 5 minutes from the mountain so people can golf, hike, mtn bike, or whatever during the day if you want. If you are interested in sleeping over, please indicate that in your post so I/we can keep track of who is coming and also who is planning on staying over.]

So let us know if you are interested and any constraints you may have on the date or the location.

By “goodies” Zach means MEAT! Flannery or something like that. Everyone would have to contribute to the food, the cooking, and the clean up.

Hmmm… could work! As it stands right now I expect to be in Denmark for most of the summer for work… but I will be in NYC sometime in June. Sorry I can’t be more precise but that’s just how my life is these days.

I’m already listed as an attendee and am looking forward to it. Bennington is easy for me, but I don’t mind elsewhere. I don’t even mind if people wanted to do this at our VT house.
The weekend would be best for me too

Wow, if we do your place we can order some Flannery’s.

Would love to come date dependent, +1.

Does the +1 refer to date dependent?

Ha, the +1 is a lock - if the calendar date works [give_heart.gif] .

Pete, assuming this works and you want, you can crash with me at Mt. Snow

Sounds like it would be a good time, I would prob be up for it.

Done deal!

This is gonna be good!!!

Looks like that weekend works for me, count me in!

Mini Me Flannery Fest!

I’ve been meaning to try a wagyu rib cap, lets do it!

Looks like Zach is willing to let us trash, I mean, use his place at Mt. Snow.

As I understand it from Zach, there is room to sleep 12, but this could involve a little Planes, Trains, and Automobiles action. I am willing to share a room, but not so sure about a bed!

In return for using Zach’s place, we would have to arrange all the food prep and cooking. We would share the food cost among the group. The main event would be on Saturday, June 13th.

What say yee all?

Zach, are there important facts I have left out or misunderstood?

Just that if people come as a couple, please know that you and your significant other may be sharing a room with others. Beds a plenty, but only five bedrooms (ski house). There is one room that’s a single with a queen bed. If no couples come, this is first come first served usually.

The other issue, but those that have met them know it’s not really an issue - is that since this is a family house, I can boot sisters and such, but not my parents! Like I said, they’ve been there before for these things and we all have a great time

That’s not a problem at all. Zach’s pops may play poker tough at first but usually gets knocked out quickly. Always nice when he plays; pads the pot a bit!

Your dad’s probably more my age, so that’s ok with me.

I will probably come by myself the way this event is shaping up.

I’m probably older than your dad…
