For whatever reason or no reason, over the years, most of the non-legit internet wine retailers seem to be from New Jersey.

Apologies to the ones there that are legit, but I think anytime you see good deals from NJ, it warrants an extra close look in advance.

If you asked me to name the most prominent non-legit internet wine retailers I could think of off the top of my head, I’d be stuck after Premier Cru (CA), Rare LLC (CO), Acker (NYC) and Royal Wine Merchants (NYC). None of which is from NJ.
