Tonight’s dinner was TJ’s Mixed Seafood pan-grilled in Meyer Lemon Olive Oil and seasoned with lemon peel, SI Spicy Seafood Seasoning, granulated garlic, and a little chipotle chile. After a bit of cooking, Buitoni Alfredo Sauce was added. Then when the Tagliarini was done, it was placed in our pasta bowls and the sauce was placed atop. Then ground nutmeg was placed atop, followed by a chiffonade of fresh basil (TJ’s had a few basil plants this afternoon). Wine was a nice 1987 Silver Oak Chardonnay - dark orange-brown in color, cork only saturated about a half inch; good citrus and green apple, with adequate acidity and a little oxidation; and a long fruity, slightly oxidized finish. We didn’t have any dessert tonight.
Dick; You have mentioned “Silver Oak” chardonnay a couple of times. I never even knew they made a chard; where did you get it?
Cheers!
