Spätburgunderbowl - Sunday, February 9th - Pizza Beddia Philadelphia

I am doing a Spätburgunderbowl at Pizzia Beddia in Philadelphia.

This will be my fourth event at Pizzia Beddia. Joe Beddia is a serious German wine fan and always puts on an incredible party. For this party he is going to, for the first time ever, expand the Hoagie room concept to the entire restaurant. You will get Pizza, Hoagies and four or so Spätburgunders plus a riesling reset and you can bring any wines you want. Preferably German Pinot if you can but that is not necessary. I will be brining a couple of cases of rare German Spätburgunder to share as well. Joe is going to open a 3 liter of Wasenhaus!

Tickets will be released soon.

The past parties at Pizza Beddia have been some of my favorites and you never know who will show up from Eric Warehiem to Schoolly D!

Please spread the word if you know people in Philadelphia!

Just curious, what will you be pouring. I am interested in non-CA/OR/FR Pinots. TIA

I will be bringing Wasenhaus, Enderle & Moll, Mobitz, Keller, Steinmetz, Saalwachter, Lukas Hammelmann, Jonas Dostert, Stein, Fürst, Meyer-Nëkal, Bertram-Baltes among others.

The wines poured by the restaurant will most likely be Steinmetz, Lardot, Glow Glow and Thörle and Falkenstein for the riesling reset.

Selections are limited in Pennsylvania.

This is very tempting. We can pound pinot and hoags then get beamed to Nola to watch the Birds from the 50 yard line  #winedreams

If the Eagles or Bills are in the game will be on!

Tickets are live for this event!
