Sonoma Zinfandel

Going to be in the dry creek area in a few weeks and want to visit with the best up and coming winemakers and Zin producers in the area (the next bedrock and carlisle). Who are the young up and coming wineries and/or under the radar winemakers to meet with?

Paul
Quivet Cellars

Limerick Lane.

Trevor Chlanda - J. Stephen (I reread the OP and realized interest was beyond Zinfandel) Additionally:

Ryan Prichard - Graft
Matt Duffy - Vaughn-Duffy, Easkoot
Kimberly Hatcher - Morgado
Justin Harmon - Argot

Wilson
Bella
Nalle

I am pretty sure they have been around for at least 15 years…

More like 25 years but they are under new owners, the Bilbro brothers, as of 2011 and have really stepped up their game.

Second the rec for Nalle in the flying under the radar catagory.

Some of the newer, or maybe newish to me, DCV wineries making Zin are Blanchard, Cast, Gustafson, Simoncini, Uptick.

Yes, thanks Sean, that’s why I listed them.

Fogline Vineyards - Brent Bessire, Evan Pontoriero
Jolie-Laide - Scott Schultz

Not new but are you buying Scherrer? Bedrock, Carlisle and Scherrer make up all of my Zin purchases.

Another recommendation is schedule an appointment with Kenny Likitprakong at Hobo Wine Company. He is really doing some good things and flys under the radar. http://www.hobowines.com

Limerick Lane is a great suggestion and under the Bibro brothers I would consider them new, and up-and-coming.

Nalle’s been around for many decades.

and Bella may not

Bad Boys

Gotta play by the rules and they didn’t.
