Just a heads up to everyone in the area, the Diageo warehouse on 8th St E in Sonoma is having a nice warehouse sale. I went tonight, it was friends and family only but they didn’t seem to care too much. They’re opening to the public on Saturday and there should still be some killer deals. Full case sales only. They have everything open so you can taste before you buy.
Some things I saw:
1989 BV GdL - $16 per bottle
1999 BV Clone 4 - $16 per bottle (I think, can’t remember specifically)
2005 Provenance Merlot Beckstoffer Las Amigas - $7.40 per bottle (the only case I bought)
2005 Provenance Merlot Napa Valley - $7.40 per bottle
Lots of other BV stuff, 2009 GdL for like $20 per, lots of older large format bottles in wooden boxes
Higher end Sterling stuff, Reserve, Single Vineyard, etc
If you’re close, it’s worth stopping by to see what they have left but I’m not sure it’s worth a long drive to risk too many out-of-stocks.
