Have you ever had a corked or premoxed wine from a bottle finished with DIAM. Trying to see if your experience is different from William’s experience.
In fact, has anyone on this thread ever had a corked or premoxed wine from a bottle finished with DIAM. Still trying to learn.
The oldest white Burgundy I have with a technical cork is 2014 vintage. So far so good.
For Uvaggio we started to use Diam with some 2004 vintage wines and used them for about ten years. Then their price jumped a lot so we used other brands of technical corks. No issues there either.

A few Berserkers have had issues with corked wines sealed under DIAM, but I have not found an example of premox under DIAM
I’ve never had a corked or oxidized wine bottled under a Diam cork…until today. 2018 Walter Scott Freedom Hill Chardonnay. The cork is a Diam10. This wine is definitely corked! I couldn’t believe it. Wet rotting cardboard, mustiness, totally muted fruit. All the tell-tale signs were there.
Maybe it’s just a bunch of funky reduction? Into the decanter it goes, sat awhile, no improvement at all. Maybe it’s just my nose? I poured a little glass, and nonchalantly passed it to my girlfriend. I didn’…
