SOLD - Le Cache Contemporary Model 2400 Wine Cabinet - Located in NYC

Due to an impending move to a fifth-floor walk up I am forced to sell a a Le Cache Contemporary Model 2400 Wine Cabinet in Provincial Cherry in excellent condition.

The best features of this cabinet are excellent all-wood racking that can accommodate oversize 750’s, beautiful furniture quality all-wood construction, and quiet operation. There is space at the top for mags or larger bottles. The stated capacity is 286 bottles, which is true, but I have found that it is best to leave a couple of columns free for air circulation so I would give it an effective capacity of just over 250 bottles.

The cabinet is between two and three years old (I haven’t pulled the receipt) and includes the optional bottle probe. The current price new is $3,999. Asking $1,500 or best offer.

The cabinet is located on the first floor in New York City (Upper West Side). As I will have a moving company here already, delivery might be available at cost.

I am happy to answer any questions or provide photos. Cabinet specs are available at the Le Cache web site.

Price reduced.

People, I have this same LeCache, and it’s fantastic. The all-wood shelves are key to keep from having to listen to the scrape of a metal racking system, and it actually looks GOOD!

$1500 is a no-brainer.

Todd is absolutely correct! I have a 5200 that I bought for around $4800 last May. It is a great piece of furniture and the cellarpro cooling unit is most likely the best out there. They are hand made in Cotati , Ca. Doors are SOLID WOOD.

I am even contacting a wino friend of mine who lives in NY to see if he might be interested. This is a great deal, and no, I am not getting a finders fee [bow.gif]

I even checked on delivery prices to SoCal. [swoon.gif]
There must be someone on the right coast that needs a great cabinet at a bargin price.

Are you sure? Freight shouldn’t be more than a couple hundred, no?

Mods? Can I get a Mod here? WTF? Can’t you follow your own rules?

le caches are pretty sensitive to damage tho aren’t they? my buddy had it come broken twice and it traveled 100 miles.

Nope. $600 was the lowest and prices went all the way up to $1000+.
Besides, if I bought another cabinet because my current one is full, this is what I would happen.

Thanks everyone. The cabinet is sold.

Cute, Vastola. I’m HELPING him sell it. I will reword it to your satisfaction - is that acceptable?

No. There’s a spurious right parenthesis. [tease.gif]

In all seriousness, I think you’re making a mistake. Why allow positive comments but not negative? Is there some reason to be pro-seller here?
