I recall having a nice private tasting at Realm a few years ago. It looks like they still do tastings with first priority given to mailing list customers.
I am on their waiting list. Not sure if they would accomadate us or not… I feel like they might be a little pretentious there though… I could be wrong.

Ma(I)sonry in Yountville gives you access to several small wineries in one sitting. Different concept, but my experience was great. You described what you are looking for (palate and price) and they give you several samples to try. The guy that helped me was spot on.
