This past spring we direct planted cuttings from Havlin vineyard and right now we are getting ready to plant from our nursery collection of rooted-vines made from cuttings from Cameron winery. It looks like a bunch of sticks, holes in the ground and mud, but it is actually really exciting stuff!

For those of you that don’t know it, this guy is a “responsible” for a lot of what we do. We used to live in a cute little house in town, but now we grow grapes on our little homestead out in the sticks. Admittedly there are days that I curse you for enabling this, but they are far fewer than the days that I am thankful, Todd. Thanks.

Thanks Zach! The influence that vineyard site has on Pinot noir in Oregon is enormous. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that wines from the same grape, same vintage and same winemaker can be so very different in character.

I ran into technical difficulties on the single vineyard blowout. No matter what I tried, the site did not like my zip code. I’ve ordered successfully on BD15 so I don’t believe it’s on my end. Any way we can make this work? Really hoping to get another order in this year.

@DannyD I probably turned-off that offer while you were ordering - it was only available between 11:35 and 12:05-ish.

I stepped away from the laptop for a minute to go and do something I have been wanting to do all day. I dug around in the cellar for bottles to make a BerserkerDay17 group photo.

There are some notable (and embarrassing for me) absentees. I am 150% sure I have some Violin and Walter Scott in the cellar somewhere. Taking this picture also made me aware, that I NEED TO PLACE MY ORDERS! There are incredible deals from producers that I am long overdue to to try.
