Shameless Plug

Shilling for business…

Where To Find Wine Fire Sales" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It’s rough being famous…ain’t it?

I am a whore…any quote, anytime, anywhere…

I think that Forbes is about as high as one can get…

Back on topic of the quoted article. How much of that bargain basement Insignia was out there? At that price it must have just evaporated.

The list was absurd, I am not sure who got those wines, but I got shut out on everything

As I recall, just one case of Insignia

Some wholesalers do not know anything.

Wait . . . you are quoted in an article . . . and it isn’t about Jay?!?!? He is going to be crushed!

Nice going big guy

So does that mean that Jadot is available for $12 (double mark-up, after all) [wink.gif]

That means a lot, where is that tear jerker emoticon? [pillow-fight.gif]

I like whores. They display both effort and focus.

Plug? You deserve a beating for not having a WB exclusive $25 1/2 bottles of insignia. Slow poke. Youd finally sell a wine Id want to drink [tease.gif]

BTW, I know I kept waiting for the Sierra Carche joke imbedded in the quotes. Something like “bargain basement SC, a $30 dollar wine with 96 pts now selling for $28…” commented Posner while looking shocked.

Go to our website…you will get a laugh…

What the hell were you doing? Wasting time on the internet or something?

Only the good ones. [wink.gif]

I got the list while my daughter had a doctor’s appt. I sat in the waiting room, opened up my laptop and responded immediately. When the doctor came out to talk to me, I made her wait a few minutes till I was finished ordering.

Then I got shut out.

which sends daily e-mail offers to regular customers.

I’m a regular customer; but I think I may be on the wrong mailing list. neener

You need a hyphen between the “Charche” and the “Free.” Right now it looks like you’ve been giving the stuff away, and I’m sure you wouldn’t want anyone to think that.

Great thread. Starts out with the “shameless plug” and quickly gets to the wine which shall not be named.

This just came up on CT:

2005 Bodegas y Viñedos de Murcia Jumilla Sierra Carche (Spain, Murcia, Jumilla)

Tasted by jbeauprez on 9/11/2009 & rated 92 points: I have 3 bottles of this and this is the first one I’ve opened. I thought it was awesome - balanced, light yet powerful, full of interesting notes that played between fruit, earth and spice, and a very fresh finish. Great acids; still plenty of tannins, has all kinds of life on it. Hope my 2 other bottles are in good shape! (81 views)

And, come on Dan, you kept the Doctor waiting? Oh, you were in the “Waiting Room.” You are my new hero - kept a doctor waiting and got into Forbes.

Mostly acetic…

I would love to taste a good btl of Sierra Carche, after having 4 really shitty btls. Robert Kenney is up to 22 btls of shit.
