According to the local news, structure is still intact but lots of smoke damage. Video this morning showed firefighters cutting open walls with a chainsaw to look for smoldering bits I guess. Sad, but hope they’re back up and running quickly.
Very sad. One of my favorite restaurants. I’m sure it will reopen and be better than ever.
This is really tragic. Manresa is one of CAs best and most creative restaurants.
Their homage egg a l’arpege amuse bouche is really a killer dish. That hit of sweet balsamic, chives, yolk…really a great start to a meal.
My favorite spot. Such a bummer.
The arpege egg is surprisingly simple!
I hope the wine made it out, too. Probably the least of their concerns. Wishing them a speedy recovery.
