SF Bay Area/Peninsula OL - Nov 5 at Sole

I’m sorry to miss so many of these dinners on the trot but K&L just announced a Bordeaux dinner on 11/5 with Christian Mouiex (cue squeals of delight) and others, and so I’m going to do that instead [cheers.gif]

I’m likely out of the country again (cue squeals of delight).

Dogs might be available but without thumbs and keys their wine options are limited.

Ok I started a list of peeps.
Let me know if I left you off.
Couple you’s I not sure ‘bout…

Let’s also pick a place.

If you do it at the Oakland Airport Wendy’s, I can stop in.

Ok Miles, only if you bring the Cheval Blanc.

I am NOT drinking any f*cking Merlot!

I can bring a Shovel Blanc.

Here are places I’d consider -
Kabul
Divino
Paul Martin’s
Sole
(Last two def waives corkage)
Open to other ideas.

I’d be up for either Divino or Kabul. If the group is small enough, 10 or less (and Andrew isn’t attending), Sole is fine with me.

Not a fan of Paul martins so anything but that for me. I will try and think of some other spots.

Either in DC or working on the menu for the Festa di Tartufo Bianco

I like this guy.

I don’t know if I am suppose to do this but I have an extra spot to a tasting of 16’s faiveley tonight in SF at 6pm. My treat.

Wines to be poured:

2016 Faiveley Chambolle-Musigny “Charmes” 1er Cru
2016 Faiveley Gevrey Chambertin “Cazetiers” 1er Cru
2016 Faiveley Clos St Denis Grand Cru
2016 Faiveley Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru
2016 Faiveley Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru
2016 Faiveley Chambertin “Clos de Bèze” Grand Cru
2016 Faiveley Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru
2016 Faiveley Batard Montrachet Grand Cru

Chris, PM sent.

PM sent as well!

We already do that. For no particular reason except that it’s Alan.

Crappy wines. Nothing to see here, move along. #bartcontacthigh
