Self-Disgorgement?

Another thought - I suspect these are wines that would continue to throw sediment post-disgorgement. That brings up a lot of issues for them to consider. I’d bet their decision to not disgorge has nothing to do with marketing, but they then do need to be very upfront to the potential customers with the schmutz in he wine and how to deal with it. So, they play it up with a Mollydooker Shake type of hype. That also means a lot of people will avoid buying the wine, which is better than having unsuspecting buyers freak out and return bottles and post their “horror stories” on social media.
