I recently got 3 bottles of 2006 Comtes for free. I showed up at a wine shop to pick up something else and there were three bottles for me. I had ordered it last year, paid for it, and forgot about it. So as far as I was concerned, it was free. It will not be used for this event.

(You could have your own “secret” bottle stashed in a planter or something.)
BTW I voted Gruet but have not had recent vintages to understand their decrease in quality. Also, I voted for the Chardonnay just because people know and like “chardonnay”, although I have never had that wine. If it’s a butter bomb, the better?
