Prologue: So Michelle and I just returned from Carrefour, err I mean France, with a selection of tasty delights (as always).

This is where the story gets good. We discovered that one of our tasty delights was spectacularly, fantastically, nearly life-alteringly tasty.

Now the story gets bad. We only brought one of these delights (doh!).

Now the dramatic climax: This is a limited edition Carrefour house brand chocolate bar! The flavor? Milk Chocolate, Caramel bits, Almond and Sea Salt. Pure win.

Now the story gets interesting: If there is anyone who will be in France in the coming weeks/months and wouldn’t mind picking up some chocolate bars at a Carrefour for us I would be happy to trade a nice bottle of whatever type of wine you enjoy in exchange for the favor.

Can you get an image of this chocolate bar? I have family coming up to visit next month from Dominican Republic. There is a Carrefour down there. If it’s available, they can get a few and bring them up.

Melissa and Steve wil be there in June, if I recall correctly. I may be there next month, or, if not, in autumn. Right now, it’s looking more like autumn though. I can easily get you some, but you’d have to wait until December for me or my youngest sister to bring them to the US.

I just checked Carrefour’s website and the only product that seemed to match your description is from a brand called Cote d’Or (not a brand from Carrefour). Pic below, please confirm - if not, I’ll have a look again.

If that’s what Josh is looking for, there’s lots of that available in Manila. I can easily send some with my next relative or friend going to the US.

It’s fucking grand stuff to my pedestrian and provincial tastes. We only bought one because it’s milk chocolate and we bought like 30 dark chocolate bars. Oops.

If anyone can get ahold of them, I’d take any reasonable amount up to like 10. And if multiple people get ahold of them and I end up with extras and sending out multiple bottles of wine, that is all sorts of ok with me :slight_smile:
