Schrader vs Hundred Acre

I just had a bottle of TOR 2010 Beckerstoffer to Kalon cuvee, very young but good. I’m on to my next purchase. I really want to try a bottle of Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan, but also curious about a Schrader bottle. I found 2 bottles that seem appealing and I wanted to splurge a little, a 2009 Schrader Beckerstoffer to Kalon (the general one) and a bottle of Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan 2006, both are about the same price. I assume they are both great in there different ways, but where would you put your money on?

Hundred Acre. Had the 2006 Ark a last September and it was spectacular.

Damn I hate to disagree with Mike…but HA seems to be more hit or miss. When it hits its a homerun and might be better than some Schraders but they are often awkward and hot (and I do mean in a bottle variation sort of way) which is why I dont buy them from ML. The Schraders are steady as they go, so for a first experience/splurge Id go with Schrader personally…

I agree with Humberto. I’ve had bottles of both that have been awesome, but Schrader is perhaps a bit more consistent. Can’t go wrong with either though…

Agree with Bob and Humberto. I’ve had multiple vintages/bottlings of Schrader, and they have been very consistent (great), and the Hundred Acre have shown inconsistent and somewhat prematurely oxidized. My vote would be for Schrader every time…
