There is an ocean of swill and plonk (not to mention good juice) out there in the marketplace. How else are producers/importers gonna get rid of it? Seems like every outlet these days is offering up a “highly rated wines” wine club.

I see in the latest BonApetit magazine that they’ve also started their own wine club.
Speaking of BonApetit magazine…I’ve followed it from the very start. It was started in the mid-late '60’s as a freebie/give-away
by Pillsbury Co, out of KansasCity. I used to pick up a free copy in the Berbiglia’s there when I started going in there
to buy wine. That was back when I bought Bourdeaux. You could buy Ch.Latout/Margaux/etc for around $12/btl.
