For dessert last night in our den, while watching the Tour of Missouri first stage, Tony Bourdain, and Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (via TiVo), we had the ripest four or five Black Mission Figs sliced, with St. Andre, Bleu 'd’Auvergne, and Affinois Goat Brie and a light, but tasty 1999 La Tour Blanche Sauterne - not as rich as the Climens the other night, but with good fruit, and very nice with the figs & cheeses. St. Andre and Black Mission figs is a wonderful match, especially with Sauternes. The blue and goat were also very good, but not quite in the category of the St. Andre.
