Ingredients

300g boiled sausage like Lyoner/Regensburger/Mortadella
200g Swiss Emmentaler cheese
150g pickled gherkins/cornichons
5 tbsp liquid from the gherkins
5 tbsp apple vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
5 tbsp sunflower oil
1 red onion

optional: chopped chives on top shortly before serving


Preparation

  1. Cut the sausage into stripes/julienne

  2. Cut the cheese into stripes/julienne

  3. Cut the gherkins into little cubes



    \
  4. Slice the onion



    \
  5. Add everything to salad bowl



    \
  6. Add gherkins liquid, vinegar and oil



    \
  7. Add a lid or cling film and put in the fridge for 1-2h



    \
  8. Serve with a good bread and optional with some chives on top. ENJOY
