Tonight we decided to eat light after two days of great indulgence. We had sandwiches made from the rib roast with butter, mayonnaise, whole-grain mustard, & horseradish. Accompaniment was a light chicken soup with pearl pasta. Wine was a 2005 Page Springs Cellars Paso Robles Grenache, Ranchita Canyon Vineyard - dark in color but interestingly a light but tasty wine with our meal. I have no idea from whom or where we got this wine, but I selected it for tonight’s supper and it was good with the soup & sandwich.
Color me a fan of Paso Grenache as well…must work well in that climate.
