Sao Paulo, Brazil last week of April

From what I hear it’s a HUGE city. I will be working the IndyCar race and will be downtown near the convention center along the Tiete river. Not sure where we are staying but I would guess close to that area.

Not looking into wine restaurants, more of just good places to eat.

Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, near Tiete river there are not many options to have a good meal, but if you get a car you can arrive to nice spots in 20/30 minutes (depending on how the traffic is).

If you want to have a good authentic brazilian steak house, I would recommend: http://www.fogodechao.com.br/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want to go to an italian restaurant, these are two good options which are not expensive:
http://www.pomodori.com.br/" onclick=“window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.aguzzo.com.br/” onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want to taste brazilian contemporary food, I would recommend:
http://www.brasilagosto.com.br/site/" onclick=“window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.carlota.com.br/” onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want to drink a “caipirinha” and see beatiful women, this is the place: http://www.hotelunique.com.br/splashpage/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In the last floor there is “The View”, the bar where you can appreciate Sao Paulo in the night.

Hope it´s usefull
