Sangiovese that tastes like Pinot Noir?

I can confuse Sangiovese for a Nebbiolo or some other Italian grape variety, but rarely - if never - with Pinot Noir.

Apart from Il Guercio. It doesn’t really feel like a Sangiovese at all. Aromatically it is closer to a Pinot Noir and its light color, supple and modest tannins and light body are all dead ringers for a Pinot Noir. Tasted blind, it’s impossible to identify as a Sangiovese.

However, I really can’t understand suggestions like Pergole Torte or any Brunello. I don’t know what kinds of Pinot Noirs you people drink, but I really can’t see any kind of similarities there - not aromatically, not structurally, not from body or color perspective. These wines are as archetypal for Tuscan wines as they get.

Many Nerello Mascaleses would make more sense, but even they are too often too Italian for me to think they could be confused with a Pinot. However, stylistically they are much closer to Pinot Noir than almost all Sangioveses.

Of course, it depends on what the Pinot’s are, but, Il Marroneto Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio 2019 - beautiful, delicate, red fruited Sangiovese with a silky texture - made me think of Chambolle Musigny, but made from Sangiovese…might be fun & a lovely wine!

Try the 2020 Kendric “Reward Ranch” Sangiovese.
Closest I’ve tasted to a PN (but still not close enough)
