Anyone with some tasting notes?
I liked the previous vintages.
Seems like good values - esp with the “free” shipping.

New releases:

2008 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Were released previously:
2008 Buck Hill Zinfandel
2006 KARSARWIL Cabernet (some notes in CT)
2007 Connell Syrah (some notes in CT)
2008 Connell Syrah (some notes in CT)

Thx.

Ted,

Tony V. tried the Sonoma Coast and commented positively on it.

I’m mad at him for not trying the SLH. One thing you can always do is email Ed directly. That poor guy has put up with a bunch of emails from me, but he’s a great guy and definitely quick to answer any questions you might have.

I’ve been looking at the online store throughout the day… I can’t decided what to order. So annoying. [berserker.gif]

I tasted that '08 Sonoma Coast with Tony and share his take on it. Really juicy red fruit and a light touch of spice. Probably could use a little time to settle down after bottling but it should drink well early and I think it has the structure to age for awhile too.

Ed asked us to taste the Sonoma Coast out of tank before bottling (tough job but someone has to do it!) but he didn’t ask us to check the '08 SLH so we didn’t try that one. Ed has a special touch with SLH Pinot and I have no doubt that it’s going to be another winner.

I’ll echo kens comments. The sonoma coast is really good. Red fruited and spicy. The slh is something I snuck a taste of and it is good but a touch behing the SX.

The SC is a no-brainer for me.

The slh is a little richer w a darker fruit profile. A little earthier with that tell tell slh citrus. A little more lush than the SC. But just enough acid to keep it enjoyable.
