Traveling to SJ post Xmas and will be in need of supplies. Any locals have some wine /beer recommendations?
You can always make the short drive up 101 to KL in redwood city. Shop online beforehand and have it routed to that store for pickup.
Better have Shawnda deliver a Wine Check to your hotel or house you’re staying at if you plan visiting K&L.
The Wine Club, Santa Clara next to San Jose airport is the closest big one.
If you don’t mind the drive, K&L in Redwood City is an option as is Beltramo’s in Menlo Park.
Visiting MIL, all purchases will be consumed before I leave!

Visit the producers directly and get a sense of local wines.
Some of our wineries are open daily, others weekends. At Lightheart Cellars, we’re not open to the public till the 7th, but we could always be encouraged to pull a cork or two before that.
