I’ll let the local SF crowd have first dibs, but put me on the waitlist if it doesn’t fill up.

I am interested, but unfortunately my schedule is still in flux for October. I will probably know more in around 2 weeks, for now you can either put me in the waitlist or tag me as pending. By the way, how much will Bacco charge us for corkage?

I’m interested, but I won’t know my schedule until a week or two before. Maybe keep me on a waiting list for now?

Looks like I’m moving up!

10/9 can work for me. Not sure if my +1 will be able to attend since that hinges on acquiring a babysitter.

Also, Italian wine is not really my thing (I do really enjoy it, but know very little about it since our cellar is embarrassingly French-centric) and I’ll be sourcing locally so any suggestions on SF stores that would have a nice selection of Italian wine would be appreciated. [cheers.gif]

10/9 works for me - look forward to it!

I can do anytime after 10/13. I’m in Italy for the first portion of the month.

If we can do a later date I’m in for sure and we’ll bring Barolo/Barbaresco with some age on it. [cheers.gif]

I’d be open to a switch to 10/16. How zat work for everybody?

I’ll be traveling at that time, but I hope to catch one of these before too long.

Megan, I would suggest K&L wines, Vinorosso, the Wine Club or Biondivino.

10/16 is perfect for me.

I can do 10/16

I’d like to attend and do so on either the 9th or the 16th. I’ve enjoyed an offline some years ago at Bacco(my choice in fact). They have a tight but nice small room to the left of the entry.

Can do 10/16. Probably just me.
May also have to resort to bringing champagne, but I will keep my eyes out for Italians.

Okay, I have put 10/16 in the header.

Remember, Bacco and Italian wine is just my suggestion.

I’m open to other suggestions.

Even if we do settle on Bacco and Italian, I’m perfectly fine with people bringing Champagne or anything else from their cellars that they’d like to share. I’d rather see someone bring a bottle that he/she researched, located, secured and cellared for a special occasion than to see someone with cellar full of personally acquired and stored gems go out at the last minute and try to find something to go with a theme. A little variety never hurts.

Great. I’m still down with the theme and restaurant overall though. I’ll confirm what wine I bring on Monday Oct 14th when I’m back in town.

Appreciate the thought. However, as our cellared bottles are not being transported to SF until late October, I’ll be sourcing wine locally regardless. (All I have at home is 2011 Kutch, 2011 Ridge, and 2011 Ch Thivin.) I just happen to be much more adept at shopping for Champagne than anything else. champagne.gif I’ll let y’all know what I find before the 16th.

October 16th should work for me.

Don’t think I can make it on the 16th unfortunately! Enjoy!
