The most important thing, I think, is to make sure to only use the thinnest gauge (“vintage”) needle, which is a separate purchase unless you buy one of the kits that comes with a bunch of accessories.

Also keep the bottle on its side once you’re done. Oddly enough, I’ve had more issues with wine bubbling up to the opening even some time after using the coravin when I’ve kept the bottle upright.
