Strong nose of cedar, dried red fruits and savory herbs. Palate is a bit dried out with red fruits, leather, tobacco, and earth. Need to see if it opens up at all, still has some grip and structure, but the dried red fruits lead me to a bit past prime time.

Will update if it changes.

I don’t remember how good a vintage '93 was in Napa. I have some '91 of this left yet and it is still fine and even youthful.

Not great, rather have '91/'92, and '94-'96. Interesting exercise nonetheless. Could have replaced the cedar plank for salmon with the wine! [wow.gif]
