I’m in the market for one.
Any thoughts on the All-Clad Stainless Steel Flared (priced reduced at Williams Sonoma from $360 to $249.95)?

I have the Teflon coasted one from Costco…big shocker…and I love it.
Mike,
This is the one I got in the fall last year. It’s the little brother to the ones I used to use in commercial kitchens. It’s cold roll steel so it will rust if you don’t keep it dry, but they last forever with minimal maintenance. (and they’re big enough for small children!)

Wow! Gotta love the price too! May be a little larger than I need though.
Bill, I’ll check out Costco (should have done that first).
Mike, that’s just ridiculous. Get the one at Costco which, IIRC, is about $40. Alternatives:
Hey, 18" x 24" is not as big as you would think.
If I cut potatoes to roast, I want them in a single layer, not on top of one another. Four medium sized Yukon Golds and I need a bigger pan to achieve that.
Also 18" x 24" fits in most domestic ovens.
That pan also goes from stovetop to oven.

Mark, despite your affection for halibut we’re from the same school. When it comes to pots, pans and bowls - bigger is almost always better.
I detest trying to cook in vessels that are too small.
