Riesling 1971-2002 - the great aging potential of Dry Riesling

Joseph,

indeed, the GGs from Tim Fröhlich are made for the long run. I had a 2007 Felseneck GG around 2 years ago. What a dirty minerality and stunning Riesling. And the famous spontaneous fermentation flavors were almost completely gone. Fair to say his GGs are not easy to taste shortly after release. Anyway I love them.

BTW, I read good things about his 2017 Schiefergestein. In general you have to look for the Ortsrieslings from him. Well-made and relatively cheep for around 15-20 Euro.

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks, I should be able to try that
